MxLab Designs was founded in January 2019 by Maxime Labrecque. With a background in aerospace engineering from École Nationale d’Aérotechnique and a degree in mechanical engineering from ÉTS, Maxime brings over 9 years of experience in computer-aided design and more than 4 years in 3D printing. He utilizes two of the best printers on the market to provide high-quality 3D printing services with fast turnaround times.

3D Printing Service:
Applications:
- Rapid prototyping
- Ergonomics visualization for architecture and design studies
- Industrial sectors: production of car parts, airplane components, building elements, consumer goods, etc.
Technology: MxLab Designs uses Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) where thermoplastic filament (typically PLA or PETG) is melted through a heated nozzle (extruder) and deposited layer by layer.
Available Materials and Colors:
- PLA: Multiple colors, ideal for indoor use.
- PETG: Stronger, resistant to outdoor environments. Also available with 15% carbon fiber.
- Transparent filaments: Appear similar to ice, not completely transparent.
- Wood filament: Contains bamboo fibers for a unique aesthetic.
- Flexible filaments: Similar to rubber.
- Other types and colors available upon request.
3D Modeling Service (CAD):
- Creation of three-dimensional objects using specialized computer-aided design software, either from scratch or based on existing objects.
Applications:
- Recreation of non-existent products.
- Repair of broken plastic parts.

Reverse Engineering:
- Recreation of your product using high-precision tools, especially for objects that are no longer available. The recreated product will often be an improved version of the original.
