Deci3D

3D printing, prototyping

We are Deci3D, a full-service 3D printing company based in Vancouver (Canada) dedicated to making additive manufacturing more accessible to everyone. Our mission—Design, Educate, Create, Innovate—is central to everything we do, providing quality design, printing, and maintenance services.

Services Offered

We are here to help, whether you’re a large company with a big budget, an individual building a new product, or just starting to explore 3D printing.

  • Custom Printing: We offer custom printing, printing to scale, and can paint, sand blast, or electroplate your parts at competitive costs.
  • Design, Customization, and Replication: We provide high-precision 3D modeling and design services to help you create new ideas, modify existing 3D designs, or replicate any physical parts for manufacturing.
  • Printer Maintenance & Repair: Productivity is key, and we have the tools and knowledge to keep your 3D printers running. We are fully insured and offer a range of maintenance options:
    • On-Site Service: Includes on-site visits for printer repair, calibration, part(s) upgrades, and test/calibration prints.
    • Standard Service: Drop off your printer at our facility (W Broadway or Richmond) for repair, calibration, and part(s) upgrades.
    • Contracted Service: Contract-based service for on-site repair, maintenance, and calibration, including free non-proprietary part(s) replacement and a free return visit for unresolved issues.
  • Design Consulting & Computer Aided Design (CAD): We offer top-notch design and consulting services to bring your ideas to life. We are experts in CAD programs like Solidworks, Fusion 360, and Blender. We design parts with 3D printing in mind to optimize for strength, improved aesthetics, and optimized manufacturing processes.
  • Parts Replication & Modification: We can take an existing object, replicate it in CAD, and then 3D print the part for you. We also provide modification services once the part is in CAD.

Manufacturing Capabilities:

We utilize a variety of additive manufacturing processes to bring your project to life, from rapid prototyping to end-use parts.

  • FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) Printing
    • Max Print Size: $400\text{mm} \times 300\text{mm} \times 300\text{mm}$ (faster completion time)
    • Max Print Size: $1200\text{mm} \times 1000\text{mm} \times 1000\text{mm}$ (slower completion time)
  • SLA (Stereolithography) Printing
    • Max Print Size: $1700\text{mm} \times 800\text{mm} \times 600\text{mm}$
  • Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) Printing
    • Max Print Size: $370\text{mm} \times 270\text{mm} \times 380\text{mm}$
  • Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) Printing
    • Max Print Size: $550\text{mm} \times 400\text{mm} \times 500\text{mm}$
  • Selective Laser Melting (SLM) Printing (for metal parts)
    • Max Print Size: $420\text{mm} \times 420\text{mm} \times 450\text{mm}$
  • Fused Granulate Fabrication (FGF) Printing (for large-scale parts)
    • Max Print Size: $3500\text{mm} \times 2400\text{mm} \times 1000\text{mm}$
  • Vacuum Casting
  • Large format printing and large mold production
  • Silicon molds for small batch productions

Materials We Work With

We work with a diverse range of 3D printing filaments and resins, ideal for everything from prototyping to load-bearing, end-use parts.

FDM Materials (Filaments)

  • PLA (Polylactic Acid): Medium strength, rigidity, temperature, and weather resistance. Best for prototyping. Recyclable and biodegradable.
  • PETG & ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene): High strength, very high rigidity, high temperature, and weather resistance. Best for load-bearing and outdoor prints.
  • TPU, TPE, TPC: Soft and rubber-like, best for flexible parts.
  • Specialty Filaments: PA, PA+CF, PLA+CF, Nylon, Wood, and others (Contact us for details).

Resin/SLS Materials

  • ABS Resin & Translucent ABS: High strength, rigidity, temperature ($\approx120^\circ \text{C}$ for Translucent), and weather resistance, with fine edges, textures, and details.
  • PA12 + Glass Beads Fill: Tough, durable, and stiff, ideal for complex geometries and high-performance isotropic parts.
  • TPU (Resin): Highly flexible, also good for complex geometries and high-performance isotropic parts.

Metal Materials (SLM Printing)

  • 316L, 17-4PH, 18Ni300, AlSi10Mg, 6061, Ti6Al4V, In718, CoCrMo, CuSn10, TA0, W, Ta.
