Prototypes Direct sintering of thermoplastic materials. The services we offer are aimed at any technical-productive reality that needs to translate and verify their ideas into real objects.
Thanks to these technologies it is possible to overcome any time barrier linked to the geometric complexity of the product; it is therefore possible to verify each geometric type in a minimum of time with materials that allow real functional checks.
Direct sintering of thermoplastic materials. With this technology, Delta Prototipi is able to create prototypes or small series in a short time using a dedicated polyamide (Duraform PA), with mechanical characteristics equivalent to a molding PA11.
Laser sintering, with polyamide-type materials, allows both conceptual models and structural prototypes aimed at mechanical and thermal stress tests to be produced quickly and economically.
If necessary, the polyamide models can be finished to obtain a high level of quality also from an aesthetic point of view.
Delta Prototipi has recently increased its production capacity with the inclusion of stereolithography services (Sla technology) with Somos “Watershed”, “Nanotool” and 3DSystems “Accura25” materials.
Through the experience acquired in the past we have equipped ourselves with adequate tools to obtain the highest quality obtainable at present; for which we have
acquired two latest generation 3Dsystems Vanguard sintering systems equipped with a 100W laser suitable for all current and future sintering applications with the new materials under development.
For the stereolithography sector we have installed a 3Dsystems SLA 5000 with Solid State laser that works with the Somos 11120 “Watershed” material, a semi-transparent material with high mechanical characteristics.
For specific applications we have also installed a 3Dsystems SLA250 with a high resolution solid state laser (class 3 mills laser) which allows the creation of detailed parts. On this machine the material used is Somos “Nanotool” with high temperature resistance. To further expand the range of materials we installed an SLA3500 that uses 3DSystems Accura 25 material, an excellent compromise for obtaining aesthetic parts with good mechanical characteristics.
