MAE Prototypes

Mae Prototipi is a company that has been active for 20 years in the prototyping and 3D printing sector , able to make available to customers a staff of 23 expert technicians , a complete and cutting-edge machine park and first-rate materials , for guarantee quality prototypes quickly , with an online quote and traceable order through shipping with specialized couriers.

We are based in FIORENZUOLA D’ARDA (PC) in the new headquarters called Galileo , has been operating in the field of prototyping since 2001 , the year of installation of our first SLS prototyping machine, and in the field of design since 1989 with a team made up of 25 people .

We are a subsidiary of MAE SpA based in FIORENZUOLA D’ARDA (PC), a company active in the design, construction and installation of machines and systems for the transformation of plastic materials, specializing in particular in the construction of systems for the production of carbon fiber of which it is a world leader with plants installed in China, Russia, the United States, India, Japan etc.

We operate in a 4000 m2 factory with 40 employees, 25 of whom are dedicated to the engineering of all aspects of the mechanical, electronic and electro-mechanical systems. Mae Progetti and Mae (Shanghai) Machinery Co. Ltd are also part of the Mae SpA group.

QUIPMENT AND MATERIALS

• We are able to provide the customer with functional prototypes , pre-series and complete series thanks to our modern prototyping machine park consisting of n. 1 HP Jet Fusion 4200 unit (see video) and n. 4 3D Systems SLS 2500 plus. Wide range of technical materials with high mechanical, aesthetic and precision characteristics with SLS sintering systems Nylon 11, Aluminum filled Nylon, Castform (prototypes for lost wax castings), Metal Laser Form St100 (steel-bronze alloy), with HP system Jet Fusion 4200 Nylon 12 and 90 Shore A TPU-like Rubber.

DESIGN AND CONSULTANCY

• A group of 23 designers with solid experience in the most varied fields of design, with 23 CAD workstations available equipped with CREO PTC software with PLM Wind Chill, FEM, Sheet metal, Bom Editor and Advanced design licenses . Our team is able to develop ideas and projects of all types , thanks to the use of the most sophisticated and recent 3D CAD modeling software ; we can also perform FEM analyzes for structural verification of components and assemblies.
