PlyPly uses a large format, computer numerical control (CNC) cutting machine to create a wide variety of objects including furniture and architectural pieces. Digital precision allows for unique patterns to be cut and repeated with exacting precision and the 4’x8’ machine bed allows for large projects to be handled efficiently.
CNC router details:
- 4’ x 8’ bed
- 6” of vertical travel
- 3 axis
- Wide variety of bits
Large Format CNC Router Services:
- Live edge slab flattening
- Projects that are too wide or unusual for traditional planers and sanders
- Custom sign making
- Custom carving and engraving
- Logos (need to be bold and/or flexible enough to be transferable to CNC)
Materials cut:
- Hard and softwood, live edge slabs, plywood, MDF, etc
- Plastics such as acrylic, HPDE, PVC, delrin, polycarbonate, etc
- Foam
Prototyping and design services:
- 3D CAD design in Fusion 360 or SketchUp
- Prototypes developed from sketches
- Custom furniture (no built-ins)
