Established in 1978, United Plastic Molders, Inc., remains as one of the oldest molding companies in the state of Mississippi. Beginning with just six employees and four machines, UPM has grown and expanded to include six buildings with over 60,000 square feet of space and staffing close to sixty employees.
- Injection Molding – 24 Molding Machines ranging in size from 30 tons to 750 tons; running 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Our Materials Team will work with you to ensure your product is built to the exact standards and colors required for your project.
- Tool & Die Shop – Complete Tool & Die Shop with 4 CNC Mills ranging in size from our Super Mini with a 36″x12″ table for smaller runs; to our VF8 with a 64″X 36″ table for your largest project. 6 Expert Tool & Die Makers, all with 20-30 years of experience
- Mold Design & Building – Design Center using ONECNC and Rapid Prototyping with 3 Expert Molding Technicians. UPM saves you valuable time and money in your Mold building process. By using our own Mold Bases, all you will need is a new Aluminum Cavity/Core. Our Mold Design Team will work with you to create and build the perfect Mold for your project.
- Mold Repair, Maintenance, & Inspection – UPM maintains all customer owned Molds stored at our facility, as well as offering in-house Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of Molds for customers throughout the US. Contact our Tool Shop at Extension 204.
- Prototyping – We always appreciate the opportunity to work with folks who have nothing more than a hand drawn concept or just a good idea for a new product. UPM will take the time to work with inventers, giving guidance with the many obstacles and questions of making your good idea a finished product.
- UV Flatbed Printing – Print any high quality, full color design or logo directly onto your products. UV light cures ink instantly, eliminating down time between runs and increasing daily production. Ideal for “just in time’ production and component pieces.
